April 2000 was the first time that I'd ever logged statistics on travelhead.com. I was shocked at the results from a site that I thought no-one really went to.

Heres how it broke down.

About 26,000 hits (which for all intents and purposes, doesn't gauge much in terms of web traffic.
6,067 page views (which represents the number of pages looked at)
1271 User sessions
and finally 746 unique visitors to the site.

That's 746 people that came to this website! I still cant get over it.

For a bit of a breakdown, it appears as though 90% of the people are from the United States, about a third of which are AOL users

Of the rest of the countries represented, it looks like the UK is next with about 5% of the traffic. In about a tie for third is Canada and Sweeden with about 1% each, and others that showed up were Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, South Africa and Denmark.
