LIFE|
Well, this is certianly a weird section. I dont know what it will turn in to, but likely something absurd. When I was thinking about dividing my life in to parts for this page, I couldnt leave out friends and family, because they are too big a part of my life to leave out. However, I dont really think that my freinds and family want their pictures plastered all over my site, so I'll likely take a different direction with this section. There are a few buttons at the bottom that will give a little more info on Rick other than cars and travels, and perhaps the rest of this section will just be a venue for my ramblings. My thoughts, etc. Not that I think theres going to be too much of an interest from the general public as to the inner workings of my brain, I think I'll still post them all the same. I like to ponder a lot, and I have a lot of brilliant schemes which I call my 'million dollar ideas'. Each one in its own right could make millions of dollars, that is provided the world was screwed up enough to accept and embrace my insanity. On that note, I'll leave you with my latest pondering. And that is, that it seems that just about everyone that I meet is trying to plan on how to have a happy future. Plan this, plan that. But I think that a lot of people then fail to realize that in searching for the end, you forget the journey. My theory is that if you want to plan to have the best possible future, all it takes is to make sure that once you get there, you have the happiest of memories. You could work all of your life to reach your goals only to find that once you've achieved them you have nothing but memories of work to reflect back upon. So, go ahead, quit your job and tell your boss that Rick told you to do it.
By the way, in case you're interested, the image used to make the "life" part of the 4-way yin-yang is a painting called "The Kiss", by Gustav Klimt. I had a copy of it sent to me by a freind from Italy. I had never hard of Gustav Klimt before that, but after looking at a his works, he is now up there as one of my favorite artists. What do I look like you wonder?? Theres a few pictures on this web site that I'm actually in. Heres the links to a few...
