I had wanted one of these since I was in highschool. There was this commercial that aired sometime around 1990 that showed some pictures flashed in a super-fast sequence of this car (each for a fraction of a second) and then an extreme-close-up of a typewriter stamping out a capital "Z". Then a still shot of the front of the car. I still remember salivating. I stopped by the local Nissan dealer for the next 2 weeks just to see one until they finally got it in. Another one of those cars that I swore I'd own. This one was a little rough, as my friend (who owned the car) sold it to someone using a payment plan a couple of years ago. The guy who bought it off my friend didn't keep the car up very well, and then faulted on the payments and my friend repossesed it. Thats when I came in. I bought the car pretty cheap, and it would have been a better deal if I had done more of the work myself, but when it was all said and done, I had a fair bit invested in the car. It was still a fun car to drive, and even better to remember that highschool senior who was at the dealership salivating as I drove it around.
